The Viking Marine Group
Based in New Gretna, New Jersey, the Viking Marine Group (VMG) comprises seven companies owned and operated by the Viking Yacht Company, founded by the Healey family in 1964. VMG includes Viking Yachts, Valhalla Boatworks, Valhalla Boat Sales, Atlantic Marine Electronics, Viking Yacht Service Center, Palm Beach Towers and Viking Yachting Center.
With two premium yacht brands (Viking and Valhalla) and supporting companies, we offer the most diverse selection of product in the industry, complete with turnkey delivery and backed by world-class service and customer care. The entire group is dedicated to the Viking mantra of building a better boat every day.
The Viking Yacht Company
Viking Yachts are high-performance luxury sportfishing yachts that lead the industry in design, engineering, quality, style and fishing capabilities. From its 880,000-square-foot manufacturing headquarters in New Gretna, Viking has delivered more than 5,500 yachts since brothers Bill and Bob Healey started the company in the early 1960s. The current Viking fleet includes more than a dozen models from 38 to 90 feet.
Valhalla Boatworks
Founded in 2019, Valhalla Boatworks has become the leading manufacturer of high-performance luxury outboard-powered vessels. The brand’s fleet consists of seven center consoles from 28 to 55 feet that emphasize fishing but also have the style, quality and comfort of premium cruising yachts. VBW has expanded further in the cruising realm with a 55-foot Sport Yacht. The boats are manufactured in New Gretna and Mullica, New Jersey.
Valhalla Boat Sales
Valhalla Boat Sales has two locations in New Jersey and one in Florida, all authorized dealers for Valhalla Boatworks, Contender and Sportsman Boats. In New Jersey, VBS is located at the Viking Yachting Center on the Bass River in New Gretna and has a second location in Mantoloking. Our southern branch in Riviera Beach features a 30,000-square-foot showroom and service center, and the New Gretna location also boasts a showroom with service capabilities.
Atlantic Marine Electronics
As the premier source for Viking-installed navigation, fishfinding, communication, security and entertainment equipment, Atlantic Marine Electronics (AME) has led luxury maritime electronic system designs since 2003. AME is dedicated to creating systems that excel in performance, accuracy and intuitive operation. AME also installs products and supports Valhalla Boatworks and Princess Yachts America.
Viking Service Center
Located on the Intracoastal Waterway in Riviera Beach, Florida, the Viking Yacht Service Center’s mission is to care for your yacht as if it were our own. Established in 2003, VYSC is a full-service facility offering maintenance, upgrades, warranty work and repairs for Viking Marine Group boats. It is also home to the Florida locations of Atlantic Marine Electronics and Palm Beach Towers.
Palm Beach Towers
Palm Beach Towers is the top provider of high-quality aluminum tuna towers for Viking Yachts and Valhalla Boatworks center consoles. PBT also produces fiberglass hardtops, rod lockers, electronic boxes and other custom aluminum and fiberglass accessories. With locations in New Jersey and Florida staffed by skilled welders and installers, PBT has led its industry since 2003.
Viking Yachting Center
The Viking Yachting Center in New Gretna is adjacent to the Viking manufacturing facility. The full-service marina has 260 slips, along with transient dockage, fuel, a pool and picnic facilities. A full-time service department offers fiberglass repairs, painting, bottom stripping and has two Travelifts for maintenance and haul-outs. It is also home to Valhalla Boat Sales and Breezes Bar and Grill.
